Figures - Portraits - Life
While some select pieces are featured within this guide, the Title Cards and QR Codes next to each artwork provide details and their availability.
Figure drawing has been an anchor point that has grounded my life in the last two years. It has become a non-negotiable component of my Monday evenings. On some days it’s my meditation, while on other days it’s my research lab to find novel ways to cover a classical artform.
A logical continuation of my figural artwork - portraiture adds a greater dimension of storytelling to my creative arsenal. My work leans into emotive expressions (and sometimes the lack thereof) to invite the viewerinto the story, my moods, and psyche - no matter how fleeting or recurring they may be.

My love for aviation shows through in the Airport Scenes series of sketches. this is an intersection of my interests in sketching, aviation, and street photography. What started out as a way to pass the time on a long flight quickly turned intoa. way for me to capture moments that feel fleetingly familiar.

As someone still in love with winters, Snowboarding Scenes is a flirtation with wintry scenes that explores snowy landscapes through the eyes of someone who has been smitten… hard!

Introspective.
Tense.
Counterbalanced.
This series feels like a distant panicky memory of someone who used to smile.
